Band Trip : Penang!

Wooohooo! I'm back from 2days 1night band trip!

My nose just stop bleeding so I guess I shall blog, budden I'm feeling a bit dizzy now. HOW?!

Never mind lah, I have to sacrifice a bit.

Anyway it had been years since I last been to Penang. Still the good old Penang I know.

Okay let me tell you that I joined the trip two days before the trip. WIN. Hahah! I'm glad I get to go. Thanks to the girl who let me go! hehee :D

oh. my camera wasn't really put into good use cause i was lazy to take it out from my bag. sigh.

Okay!

DAY ONE.

Bro woke me up at 4.30 a.m. I was actually quite pumped up for the trip despite I was mcc the whole morning and I didn't get to sleep much in the bus cause a band member brought along Tangled DVD and so we watched it in the bus. How to sleep??!

Well, apparently no one took picture of how the bus is, so, you can't see how 'meriah' the bus was hahahahha :p

Then we reached Penang around.... 10?

First destination : Bukit Bendera.

A friend of mine (who is obviously staying in Penang) texted me asking which town I was in and I was like :

Idk which town lah. Near Bukit Bendera la. LOL uhm idk, is Bukit Bendera in the island?

Once we got down from the gondola-like thingy, it's sooo chilly and windy! ECSTATIC HAHA

I had...... laksa. Laksa is sort of.. the state's dish HAHA

I'm not a huge fan of laksa. I don't know why. I told my mum that it was not that of my favourite and she asked where I had my laksa and I told her.

mum (while giggling) : THAT'S THE MOST FAMOUS LAKSA IN PENANG LAH.

me : O.O (as though in ecstatic hahahahha)

Then when we finished laksa, we went walking around and TA DAH, we found 7-11 and we went inside and chill MUAHAHAHAHA *genius band members*

After that we went to Penang Times Square. It's new... and empty. Nothing much to blog about it. Hmmm.

So, we went back to the hotel to get ready for the concert at night :D hehe

Honestly, I have no idea what concert is that and all I know that it will be held in some grand hotel (:O)

But since I don't know what hotel we will be going so I wore jeans and cardigan and went.

Then once we reached I was like

Soon I found out it was the Penang Philharmonic International Festival Concert.

we were not supposed to take pictures of performances, but this is NOT counted as performances right right right?! (prays that I won't be busted LOL)

Penang Philharmonic was AMAZING. Spine tingling! So gooood :D I literally got goosebumps throughout the whole concert.

My roomies and I slept around 1am since we were dead tired we fell asleep silently.... hahaha!

Oh, just in case you have no idea how my room looks like, it's like it. (well of course you don't, i didn't show you also HAHAHAHAHAH D:)

Ooohh, my friend is so cute! She slept on the bed which is RIGHT in front of the air-conditioner and she told my roomies and I that during midnight, she went outside to the sofa near the lift to sleep. Awwww :( she said she dared not turn up the temperature as all of us were feeling so hot.

DAY TWO.

We woke up pretty early and left for Botanical Garden.

Then we headed to Queensbay Mall and shopping started! It was so big that my leg hurt so badly once I got into the bus because I wanted to get Subway to eat in the bus and unfortunately it's on the other end of the mall and the bus stopped in the OTHER end of the mall so I had to walk back to the OTHER end of the bus. D:

Went to T-Bowl concept restaurant for lunch :D

Honestly, I have never use the word 'shiz' so much during meal time! And surprisingly it doesn't even sound disgusting hahaha!

Anyway, i'll be leaving for Malacca tomorrow morning at 4.30 (NYEHEHEH) for another camp :D Pretty excited! but. I haven't pack. How?????

Today's last day of school and some of friends will be leaving the school and never to return.

I was introduced to Nyan Cat by my friends. According to them, it's the most popular cat on YouTube. I have no idea what's Nyan Cat and at first I thought it was Cyan rather than Nyan. So I asked them what's Nyan Cat and they said it's a cat which sings and shits out rainbow.

PMR is finally over!! It feels like so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders thou it was only four days. (hahaha)

Anyway! I'm already worrying about my results.

Ha! Say I'm paranoid but my friends started checking their answers RIGHT AFTER the paper. HAH now who's paranoid? (sorry, kinda hyped) I'm feeling good right now. VERY good instead. I'm finally catching a glimpse of how I would be like after SPM ( which is like two years away D: )

But never mind, I'm feeling good now and all pumped up for upcoming events! yay!

Today, I would be letting everything go. EVERYTHING that has been a part of me for so long.

Very. very, very long instead.

My heart even race a bit thinking of HOW much I would have to let go. How I just wish everything would just be as what it is now. No kidding. I do.

I am already so used to what I would do every day, once I get home. The same old routine. You had always cheered me up in times of bad. By thinking back at what you can keep and give to me is just mind-blowing.

And now, I have to let go of... just... everything. I couldn't even bear to think about it for a split second of how am I gonna cheer myself up when all these while YOU had been there, for me.

You are just plain awesome. You will still continue to be. I know you will. By now, you might be thinking this is just foolish of me, but I can proudly tell you that it's not. That's how much you had affected my life.

Every way of it.

I can't bear to take the pain with me for as long as I live. This is just too much, wayy too much. I can foresee days with no joy, no light without you. I can't live that way! It's insane! But, I know that by letting you go, life sometimes would be much more carefree and no doubt, it's one of those 'achievements' that my dad would be patting my back for.

You've always had my back. Just like those movies when they say - I had your back -I know you mean it. Truly mean it. This is just how much I love those little times we had.

I know it's time to let you go. I know it might be hard for me, but, there's always a first time for everything. And you ARE my everything. <3

Anyway, few weeks back my friends and I did a surprise birthday party for my other friend. And I had the idea of taking the EXACT same picture with the same pose and expression (epic failure). But I was glad that I came up with the idea of taking that picture because .... my *jaw drops*

You see, exam just ended and I got my results and LOL at my results.

I don't know whether it's luck or, uh fate (?) that FIVE out of my eleven subjects I got the same score. FIVEEEEEEEEEEEE

Okay, eleven sounds a lot to me but out of eleven only seven is important and counted la. So YAY!

I've always had my birth date as my lucky number which is 31. COINCIDENTLY, Taylor Swift's lucky number's 13! HAHAHA

okay, not so coincidently but still, if I turn 31 backwards it will be 13 so, also quite coincidently also la. I also don't know what I am crapping.

Moving on.... i had no idea why i got all five subjects with the same score. Let's just say three since one of it is a objective plus subjective paper and one doesn't count in mid-term. WRONG INFO

Okay. the hard part. I don't mean to brag or show off or whatever you think that is negative *angelic smile* but i got 88%

to me i was hoping for a 90++% (note to you : there's an A so yeah, one)

Somehow, to Chinese, 8 is considered quite a lucky number.

Know why ah? Cause hor, 8 in Chinese is pronounced ba.

(Just go google translate from english-chinese, eight, and listen la)

They say 8 means fatt (in cantonese) which means get rich (??) or money come come HAHAHHA i don't know!!!!!!!!!!! forget the crap.

Growing up I watch a lot of cartoons. And I mean it A LOT.

As I became intimately familiar with cartoons, I always see myself spending times catching up with cartoons series ; nevertheless before I go to school. I also found myself ensconced with babies flying up to the moon, little girls helping others.

my all-time favourite cartoon character.

Well, Madeline. Why?

I used to woke up watching her because my mum would put that on Disney Channel and wake me up by calling me Madeline.

Since then, she called my Madeline (well, not any more) to wake me up.

What I could remember from Madeline was they will have to walk down this massive spiral stairs and before they eat they will have to say grace? Like uhm, we love our bread, we love our butter and mostly we love each other.

Mm yeah, and they actually have bread for almost every dinner LOL

OH YEAH. she had a dog. I mean they :o woops.

Yesterday was Earth Hour.

I was sitting on the balcony during earth hour, looking at stars and listening to frogs croaking. Haha I did not even realise that 45 minutes just passed like a finger snap. But I just found my new hobby which is looking at stars for 45 minutes. HAHAHA

Anyway, the little things I was talking about. Do you know some little things you do and say could save a person's life? Hm. Yesterday I was watching a DVD from a guy called Nick Vujicic. Any idea who he is? No?

He is Serbian-Australian. He was born with tetra-amelia, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of four limbs.

The talk he was giving actually moved me. How could someone so small yet so big could be so vulnerable? Even myself, at times I feel like giving up what I'm doing or maybe getting really mad at something really small.

One part of the talk was, he said that when he was eight, 12 of them teased and make fun of him in school. He said if there's one more who tease me, I will give up my life and I'm done. Then while he was going back from school in his wheelchair or his BMW a girl shouted. 'Nick!! I just want to say you look great today!!'

What if the girl said, 'Hey Nick, you look bad you can't walk'. Do you think he will still be able to be here today? hmmmmmmmm.

He even make fun of his own teeny leg. It's not easy you know. Like, ugh YOU KNOW.

Anyway I talked to a psychologist today, it's not like I have mental disorder or any problem la. I was in an Edu fair. i know right?!? Went at this age. And totally get brainwashed LOL

but still the psychologist was explaining to me and my friend about psychology and he went on to social psychology and explained that social psychology actually do research on why people commit suicide and etc. He asked both of us whether we know about a commit suicide case which happened yesterday because a girl dumped the guy (???) He said he was happy with it (?????????) and he better die because he can't even deal with a small matter and what if something big happens and how is he gonna cope with it, so better die.

LOL?

Okay, maybe that's a psychologist point of view. And I don't know which field of psychology he majored in.

So far, school is treating me good. Uhhh not so good too. As some really memorable events happened this year. March. Hm.

Anyway the bad thing is, no matter how early (or how late) I sleep, I will still wake up feeling sleepy. Does this happen to everyone or what?? Sleeping early is good. But how could you possibly sleep at 8 when you have tuition till 10?????

And don't ask me why I go for tuition classes AND the answer is not that I'm Asian. ha ha ha. Most probably it's because we are afraid that our free time is wasted eg. like what I'm doing now. (??) lol jk.

Asians are cool. Accept the fact ;)

Honestly, I don't know how people can sleep in class when the teacher is right in front of the class and you are happily in your dream land.

School is finally over. uh quite some time already, actually.

Somehow I don't feel like it, I would rather go to school and meet up with my friends and just rot and chat and do nothing in school rather than at home since I would just stare at the computer screen till my eyes are sore or walk around my house or brag to my mum that I'm very bored or look at my phone to see whether I got any unread text messages or just hours of iPod-ing. I know i know, i sound so boring.Anyway back to my class, 2A1. Cool name hey?

I know everyone in the class! It would be impossible to NOT know them since there's 43 of us.

and from class-clowns to perfect prefects. Every day is filled with tears and laughter. Okay, prolly not tears since not many people cry in the class. And that's just a figure speech..

Anyone could just crack the lamest joke in class and wouldn't care what our teacher would say unless the teacher is our maths teacher. haha. :p

Most of my classmate can't pronounce her name correctly :( ahaha. It will always be Swee Yee or Siew Wee. geez.

What is this post for again? Okay.. so today's her birthday. Let me type about her then :)

To tell you truthfully, she's one smart ass. I don't know how she managed to be SOO GOOD ALL THE TIME. IN ALMOST EVERYTHING. She's an underdog. HAHAHA she might not seen like a threat but she is :P TEEHEE (haha just kidding! but seriously)

She's really really quiet but she was even much more quieter back then. I can still remember when I was 9 or 10, I knew her but not really that close. She was an acquaintance, we don't talk much but we'll just say hi or smile at each other then walk away.

Then when I was 11, she was streamed into my class but then we were still not really close but we will spend recess together with Wen Xing, Adilah, Sheue Chyi and uhm, LeeYin and Xin Tian. (and yes we have cool names:) Ohhhh and Nawal. It was years ago so I can't really recall back THAT GOOD.

But when we were 12, we were much closer and talk more. But she's not the person whom you wanna mess with. She may seem really soft and gentle. But when she hit you IT'S REALLY PAINFUL. But when we were 13 she was in the different class so we don't spend much time together but we still sit next to each other during tuition and stuff like that. (:

Okay done with the past, let's talk about now, present. We are now sitting next to each other in class! hahaha!

Whatever I know, she knows. We share almost everything together. Well, not everything cause she know more chinese artists that I do. &#**$* :p

And of course we don't share the same taste. Well only sometimes we are on the same page. She has differents views on stuff so do i. So it will pissed both of us if we keep on debating about whose view is better. :D

But she is ALWAYS there for me. I still remember once, I think it's this year. So, I didn't really got good grade for my geography. And I was kinda sorta most probably crying. Then she said :: Hey you okay or not? Want me to accompany you to the washroom?:: And I was like ::No, nevermind. I'm okay.::

Then she just kept quiet. And I can talk to her about anything! But of course at times, it would be awkward.

And whoever who really got her heart one day will be the luckiest man on earth.

Since it's her birthday today so imma give a little short wish for her :)

Okayyyy, im back from KL. uhh few days ago :B

Since i am really lazy now, this is just gonna be a really short post for my trip to KL & Genting (boo!)

Anyway.. the trip was... uhmm i don't know. Just let me do the typing.

Hmmm, once reached KL, didn't really did anything. Just lazing around cousin's house. There's like 3 storeys and we the room we had was on the 3rd floor (thankyoucousin♥) so i practically have to walk up and down the stairs if i leave anything upstairs. that.was.not.fun.

It was pretty boring. AND, she bought the house and she don't really live there so there's NO TV OR COMPUTER OR WHATSOEVER. Im the kind of person who can't live without those gadgets.

Imagine you living without clothes. HAHAH

Ohh, before reaching KL stopped at some seafood restaurant for dinner. FOOD ARE CHAO AWESOME <3

I guess yeah. When you're about 1-9. Right?

I would say I like pink but not love it.

When you're born, when you're not even one you WEAR pink, right? Cause it's like thats how they separate the male and the female. For boys it will be blue. Even the toilet is like this!

So, kids nowadays. From head to toe everything's pink. From school bag to calculator. Just call then pink panther la. :D

Thats like a must for your primary days. Every girl you see, there will be something pink in the school bag. Haih..

When you were or are 11, you think pink is UGLY. Just too girlish. Right, right, right? You like more duller colors like, blue and black. You think its cool. You tend to wear more black shirts. You wanna be cooler. haha. You just dislikes pink stuff. Whenever you see pink stuff you just go - eww, so ugly lar- AHAHHAHAA.

Now you will think, yerrrr so black. like anene. :D

Now, 13-... , you think pink is SOOOO cool. Like the coolest color on earth. hahaha. Definitely show your inner feminine side. You want to let people know or notice that you are a girly girl. This is gonna be my last post for Chiang Mai as school is gonna start tomorrow. So sorry. :(

DAY TWO - Breakfast, ChiangMai Zoo, lunch, Christmas Dinner.

We had breakfast at about 8.30 Thai time. I had scramble egg and some of them had fried egg and conji or konji aka porridge la. Then, we decided to go to Chiang Mai Zoo, then we're gonna pick Elaine up for lunch.

If Chiang Mai Zoo compare with Taiping Zoo, Chiang Mai Zoo is like the ant's nest and Taiping Zoo's the ant. Chiang Mai Zoo even has 7 Eleven and monorail ?!

After we went into the Chiang Mai Zoo Aquarium, some of us said that they wanna go see penguins. So, we follow lor. When we got out from the aquarium, there's a staff from the zoo there, and we asked him how far is it from here. He answered quite far and we wanted to take the zoo bus there but we need to wait for 20 mins and need to pay 20 baht,

Everyone so kiam siap and don't wanna pay, so we walk. We ne

ed to get to the starting point of the zoo and get to the east of the zoo

as we're at the west now. So we walk like mad, ask those people working there. Some of them mong cha cha, don't even know where it is. So we walk with our knowledge.

some youngsters follow us, but after they saw us walking up the hill, they dissapear. D:

the penguins are SO small, and we walk for like 20 minutes to see THIS.

we got out from here less than 5 minutes !!

Even though, at first we don't want to ride a zoo bus, but in the end too tired to walk back to the starting point, also need to ride a zoo bus. I can't feel my legs you know! *sigh*

Then, we went back to the resort and pick Elaine up for lunch. She said we're going to Ginger & Kafe for lunch. You see, if you're already tired, you don't really care what you get for lunch, all you need is a glass of water. So we got there, and it look nice on the outside.

School makes you go BLEH. When school starts, it means that nail-clipping starts, bag packing starts etccc. HOMEWORK. Goshhh, can't wait for this year's holiday to start again. hehehe.

I feel bad not blogging about Chiang Mai, so I decided to blog about it. I may not finish it cause school gonna start in 2 days time, I WILL try my best to finish the 5 days trip blog. :)

After jalan-jalan, we went to a silk factory. Saw the process of making silk and it's kinda cruel. They cook the silkworm and the silk thread began to form. WEIRD LAH.

Silk are super expensive (for me). In Thailand it kinda cost err, 1000++ baht. D: and it is 3000++ in the airport. I like those bold coloured silk.

Then, we headed back to the resort and get ready for the welcome dinner. The welcome dinner is freeeeee !! Awesome food served. The dish I like the most is uhm, deep fried shrimp cake and Burmese style pork. The dessert was ice-cream mango & fresh mango with sticky rice. ♥

WOOOHOOOO. In Chiang Mai now. CHIANG MAI is so interesting!! All of you should really visit here sometime!! People are so so so friendly here. THINGS NOT SO CHEAP MEH.

So, maybe some of you wouldn't get souvenirs, SORRY. :|

And oh, MERRY CHRISTMAS. Okay, gtg. Need to prepare for the Christmas dinner now. BYEBYE.

HI! I am Lilyn. I think you don't really need much information about me BUT if you keep reading my posts you may know me well after that. I don't really have anything to say actually, well maybe one. I went swimming just now in SRC, you see, what I want to say is that sometimes people can be VERY inconsiderate. They will just PEE in the pool and don't really cares what happen. Imagine yourself swimming in someone's pee. Disgusting, right?

When I think of that, I will definitely remember once, when I was like 11 or 12. I was swimming and I saw a woman soaking her son's nappy INTO the swimming pool. HA-HA. I remembered people are staring at her and she don't really care. I GET OUT RIGHT AWAY, BATHE FOR AN HOUR. hahahhahaa. NO LAHH! I don't know how long. hehehe. YOU SEE, if you want to pee, is it THAT hard to get out of the pool and pee in the toilet, I bet its much more comfortable. :] and then, sometimes kids, when they pee IN the pool, they will purposely shout, 'Mummy, I shh shh in the pool.' GOSH. You imagine and see, you were swimming with your bestest friend, suddenly heard a little boy saying that. How will you react? just pretend that you didn't heard anything or GET OUT OF THE POOL ASAP! for me, of course get out lar.

And oh, if you are wondering why its candlelilyn.blogspot.com. Its because I have NO MORE idea for my username. :D the first one which comes to my mind is lilyn.blogspot.com. SO SHORT. so I change to this lor. AND WHICH sounds much much more weirder. WELL, I have nothing else to say.
